Save file location

The 2023 Steam guide and a Steam discussion both print the Windows folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\LevenLiu\ZedZone. Both trace back to the same Discord answer, and Cheatbook also repeats it: three public pages, one source lineage. The path is therefore labeled 1 source rather than two independent confirmations.

The store category list includes Steam Cloud. A January 2026 post announced cloud support for companion data. Cloud does not replace the local folder. If a save will not load, the public advice is to copy that folder before you delete anything. I have no separate 1.0 path. If the folder name changed at launch, it is not written down in the sources I used.

Manual mod installs are a related argument. One post says to drop files in the save folder. The official mod guide also shows a game-directory Mods folder. Both sentences are on the mods page. Do not mix them into one path.
