Backpack IDs
Names and ids. Not a capacity chart, because nobody published the liters.
A 2023 guide called the leather bag the largest pack. Later notes, including the lizard posts, describe a lizard hide backpack that outweighs an external-frame pack while weighing half as much. Those two sentences cannot both be a current ranking. I keep the leather claim labeled 2023 and the lizard claim labeled October 2026, and I do not build a sorted capacity table out of adjectives.
Ids that do exist in the item lists: small backpack 500 and again 509, trekking 501, hiking 502, oversized outdoor 503, school 504, big outdoor 505, fabric 506, cloth bag 507. Leather is discussed in the 2023 guide without a clean id I trust next to those. The duplicate 500 and 509 for a small backpack is a disagreement inside the list itself. I am printing both instead of deleting one.
The 1.0-era additions people ask about, including the lizard hide pack and several packs added before launch, do not have ids in Fandom or the 2025 command guide. The name can sit in the notes. The id cell stays empty. Weight and slot count stay empty for the same reason. If you need to spawn one of the numbered packs, additem plus the id is the command pattern, with the count you choose.
Mod backpacks are a Workshop question, not a row in this table. A mod that adds a pack uses the mod's own id if the author published one.

Questions
Which pack is largest?
A 2023 guide says leather. A 2026 note says lizard hide beats the external frame. Both stay, neither becomes a liter value.
Why no capacity column?
The numbers were not published. An empty header would pretend they were.
