Generators, batteries and fences

Two different batteries. Mixing them up is how the searches go wrong.

Electric fences draw on a Stirling generator, and the 3 Nov 2026 post says you can switch that draw. The same notes drop the cost from 300 W to 100 W per fence segment. I keep both figures with the date of the cut, because the old number is not a typo, it is the previous rule.

Laser turrets and Tesla turrets are the other sink. Posts say they need a high-power battery module. Fandom, the 2025 command guide, and Cheatbook all lack an id for that module. The cell stays empty. Ordinary batteries in the command guide are a different family: AAA 80, AA 81, C 82, 9V 83, vehicle battery 85. I will not point a Tesla turret at a 9V.

Gameoneer counted more than ten electrical facilities. I am not expanding this page to ten devices I cannot name. The ones I can name are the Stirling generator, the fence, the two powered turrets, and the electric furnace mentioned as three times the stone furnace. A nuclear battery is a search with no id in the lists I checked.

If a guide from 2023 quotes a wattage, prefer the November cut for fences and say so.
