Campfire and cooking

The production menu in the official screenshot lists a campfire beside the stone furnace and the benches. That is the fire the build guides mean. Wood is the fuel the command list calls id 0. An ignition tool is id 21 if you are spawning supplies, not because every fire requires a console.

Cooking as a station is the cooking hob on the Fandom cooking page, plus whatever the campfire itself accepts in the 2023 newbie notes. Food poisoning is a Fandom page of that same era. I am not reprinting a 2023 calorie table as 1.0 nutrition. Recipes that need a pot still depend on the workbench pot.

People search for the battery type of a portable induction stove. I found no item, no id, and no patch note that names that stove. There is no battery answer, because there is no source that the object exists. If it shows up in a later post, this page should grow a row. It does not grow a guess.

Crows can be eaten and cannot be butchered, according to the 2023 Fandom crow page alone. Fish from the coastal screenshot are a separate food path the store has shown for years, since the fishing update. Neither one replaces boiled water.

The 7 Nov 2026 1.0.5 post adds buffs to stove-cooked dishes and home-canned food: meat affects carry weight and melee damage, fish natural healing, soup healing and warmth, spicy food movement speed, and eggs or poultry stamina recovery. Fresh dishes have a Hot prefix and the Piping Hot buff; cold dishes last for two-thirds of the buff duration (one official source).
